Great book to read.
I did not know that much about fish until I read this. Wow. What a cool read.
I hope we go camping soon so I can try these recipes.
not what I expected by it has some good ideas
most have a difficult time coming fish. Easy guide to make easy nutritious meals.
So far VERY interesting. Especially the sauces. Maybe a little bit too much information for some folk, i.e. catching types of fishes..
The first chapter is delightful. Entitled 'The catching of unshelled fish', it humourously introduces the very first step in cooking fish - namely "the Catching, or what the Head of the House terms the Masculine Division of the Subject". The chapter continues with a delightful comparison of shell-fish and unshelled fish, and then describes anglers. Well worth reading this chapter, even if you do not cook - especially if you are a fisherman.
